Finnegan Insurance Brokers is located in the heart of Eastern Ontario, in beautiful heritage Perth. Serving the community since 1959, we strive to provide you with choice insurance and investment products at competitive rates.
OUR HISTORY
In 1959, Jack Finnegan founded and operated the business. In 1972, Jack’s nephew Terry moved to Perth to work alongside his uncle in what was then a two person operation. In 1990 after Jack Finnegan’s passing, Sylvia James and Lori McMunn became partners with Terry Finnegan in the business. Terry Finnegan and Lori McMunn remain partners today after Sylvia’s passing in 2014. The office is located at 49 Gore St. in downtown heritage Perth, and now houses over a dozen co-workers.
RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
Dianne Elderbroom has been with Finnegan Insurance for 29 years and has contributed to our success with her knowledgeable advice and personal service during her tenure.
We will miss Dianne dearly & wish her all the best in her retirement.
Lindsay Somerville has been with Finnegan Insurance for 17.5 years and in the insurance industry for 43 years! His many loyal clients are a testament to his good service, advice and expertise over the years.
Lindsay will be truly missed professionally and personally but wish him the very best in his new chapter in life.

As an active member of the community it serves Finnegan Insurance Brokers has had the pleasure of helping various local organizations through the contribution of time and financial resources.
Giving back to the community is part of Finnegan Insurance Broker's constitution as taught by our founder Jack Finnegan and we continue to honor his legacy of community support by sponsoring minor baseball and hockey teams, as well as contributing funds for school trips and festivals. There is no shortage of opportunities to get involved right here at home to help build a more connected community for everyone in it.
Our office was the community organizer for the Perth Terry Fox Run from 2012 through 2020, and we continue to be proud supporters of the Terry Fox Foundation. Join us in donating today here.
